The sentiment can be applied to anything you do in life. For me the past few weeks it’s been this blog. It was in an absolute mess and I wasn’t happy with the theme or the elements that brought my page together. I am an extremely OCD person and was determined to fix it, even if the HTML was going to be the death of me! It’s why I was so quiet for a few weeks after my first post. It’s done now and I’m extremely happy with the end result. I feel like I can look at my blog with fresh eyes and have started laying out my ideas for my next few posts.
I will also be adding some more pages under the ‘About’ tab so you can get a better feel for what I do and what I have to offer but that’s going to take some time so bear with me.
But like I said earlier, the sentiment can be applied to anything. If you keep the space around you clean and tidy then often you can focus better on your tasks at hand. I usually spend my Monday morning tidying up my office space and then writing a list of what I have to do for the week so that my surroundings and my mind are clear. You can see better and perform better when you’re not trying to sift through piles of paperwork or navigate your mind around the million things that have to be completed before Friday! It’s a rule I live my work life by, especially when you have to balance as much as I do! (;
